Vrije Ruimte Festival

On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November, Amsterdam Alternative organizes the Free Space Festival for the first time. By means of this festival we want to draw attention to the importance and value of free space, which cannot be expressed in monetary terms. The festival takes place in multiple 'alternative', non-commercial venues in the city with a program of discussions, exhibitions, live bands, documentaries, food, drinks, tours, audio-visual experiments and parties. The festival is also a collaboration with the Envisioning Free Space conference organized by Space Of Urgancy. With this conference, which came over from Berlin, we will organize a series of discussions and workshops from Thursday 25 to Sunday 27 November on various topics such as free space, night culture, regeneration, alternative economies and much more. The Vrije Ruimte Festival stands for experiment, passion, fun, collectivity and the sharing of knowledge and experience.
