Ticket sales

Online sales
Tickets are for sale online on our agenda page. You can order online 24 hours a day and up to 2 hours before the start of a performance.

Tickets costs €1.00 less online than at the box office or per reservation. The box office is open one hour before the start of the performance. We scan your e-ticket that you show on a printout or on your telephone upon arrival. If applicable, you may be asked for CJP, city, student or We Are Public pass

Our telephone reservation line can be reached on Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:00 on 020-6654568.

Sale at the cash register
Our box office is open from one hour before the start of the performance. Payment for (reserved) tickets is only possible with pin. Please collect reserved tickets at least 15 minutes before the start. After this, the reservation will expire. The door to the theater opens a few minutes before the start.
 

Accessibility

Everyone is welcome in PLEIN THEATER. Our theater is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and a disabled toilet. Note: Not all of our programming is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us in advance by e-mail or telephone.
 

Corona measures

Due to corona measures and limited capacity at performances, tickets can only be ordered online or by reservation and therefore not at the door prior to the performance. Read here the current corona measures during your visit.

 

Directions

Public transport
You can walk to the Sajetplein from metro station Weesperplein. Tram lines 3, 7 and 10 are also walking distance from the theatre. You can also use the 9292ov app or website to determine the best route from your location to the theatre.

Auto
Sajetplein: from Amsterdam Noord: IJtunnel (S116). roundabout Mr. Visserplein, to Weesperstraat. At intersection Rhijnspoorplein, turn left. First stoplight right: ‘s-Gravesandestraat. First street to the right: Mary Zeldenruststraat. After 50 metres on the right-hand side. From all other directions: Ringweg A10, exit S113. Middenweg/ Linnaeusstraat in the direction of  Centrum/Amsterdam Oost-Watergraafsmeer. At the end of Linnaeusstraat: roundabout to the left, along Mauritskade (passing the Tropenmuseum). Second stoplight left: ‘s-Gravesandestraat. First street to the right: Mary Zeldenruststraat. After 50 metres on the right-hand side.

Parking
Limited street parking in the vicinity of the theatre, Monday through Saturday, € 4,00 per hour.
Parking garage OLVG Hospital, open 24/7, € 4,00 per hour.
