Plein Theatre welcomes you to an exciting night filled with abstract and morbid imagery! We bring you a movie night with independent filmmakers of alternative cinema along with a feature length cult classic: Videodrome by David Cronenberg. Additionally there will be short talks in between, a free drink and the chance to meet fellow creatives and connoisseurs of darker cinema!

Hosted by Lars Soti and Lewis Knight in collaboration with Plein theater and Studio Instigator.

Lars Soti is a filmmaker who grew up romancing the horror genre and quickly found a desire for storytelling. Starting his academic studies with a bachelors course in Film theory at the University of Gothenburg and later relocating to Amsterdam to obtain a BA in Digital Film Production. Establishing himself as a videographer through the mutually founded Screenfield Productions which led to streams, music performances, various events and music videos. These have been in collaboration with Rewind Studios, De Kring, Nieuwevide along with several individual artists such as Starkbravado, Humanji Dance Project and rappers Red & J. Currently Lars is working on releasing several of his self directed shorts in order to further his interests within the genre he is passionate about, with goals of eventually evolving into an indie film company.

Lewis Daniel Knight is a musician, music producer and visual artist with a longstanding relationship with music starting off as a jungle and drum&bass dj / producer in the UK and gaining support from dj,s and radio stations such as Fabio, Grooverider, Bailey and bbc radio 1 xtra.

Currently based in Amsterdam he has recently been involved in a number of theater, dance and film productions where he has worked with choreographers film makers and producers such as Isabelle Nelson, Felipe Prado, Jort Faber, Martin Van Drunen, Candella Murillo, Lars Soti and has been responsible for all music composition, production, mixing, mastering and live performances.
