If you are interested in what Theater Embassy did between 2001 and 2017, check out the digital archive: www.theatre-embassy.org/archive

In 2021 the Theater Embassy archive has been digitized. And in 2022 the archive, both digital and physical, will become part of TiN's theater collection!

Because we think it is very important that an archive of Theatre Embassy is visible and accessible at a time when many important archives for art are disappearing or have already disappeared. And so that everyone can draw on these inspiring and illustrious projects that we realized with hundreds of committed makers.

An archive serves as a collection, but also generates knowledge. Here you can find material from projects, but also the impact that the collaborations have created in many countries and continents.

Theatre Embassy collaborated with exceptional artists and activists, and we want to make and keep them visible through the (digital) archive. Some of them have passed away, but most theater groups and cultural organizations are still very active. They are an important anchor for the community around them and for the country where they live and work.

The Theatre Embassy digital archive aims to serve as a tool for democratization by enabling access to the Theater Embassy archives and enhancing the online visibility of our projects, partners and partner organizations.
