From home | What is home? - A zoom concert & dance performed from the participants' own homes, during the Corona Virus lockdown period.

With newcomers, asylum seekers, refugees and neighbors from Amsterdam Oost and AZC Hoogeveen.

"Enclosed within four walls, the Corona- Virus pandemic opens up the possibility for us to be different in this world." 


The concert lasts 60 minutes and will be screened for the first time in Plein Theater, Amsterdam Oost in July 2020.

The concert is part of The Path of Trust dance project that Dorit Weintal is creating together with the artistic team and participants;

The artistic team: Cinematographer Roman Zotter, Composer Simone Giacomini, Dancer Maria Mavridou and Philosopher Renate Schepen.

Together we explore the language of trust through word, body, voice and music; What is home? Where am I safe? The paradox of being in between.

Met nieuwkomers, asielzoekers, vluchtelingen en buren uit Amsterdam Oost en AZC Hoogeveen.

Het concert duurt 60 minuten en wordt voor het eerst vertoond in PLEIN THEATER in Juli 2020.

Het concert is onderdeel van Het Pad Van Vertrouwen dansproject dat Dorit Weintal samen met het artistiek team en de deelnemers creëert;

In het artistieke team: de cinematograaf Roman Zotter, de componist Simone Giacomini, de danseres Maria Mavridou en de filosoof Renate Schepen. 

Samen verkennen we De taal van het vertrouwen door het woord, het lichaam, de stem en de muziek; Wat is thuis? Waar ben ik veilig? De paradox van het ertussenin zijn.
